This recent install in a rear garden in Southport demonstrates the difference artificial grass can make to small court yard gardens. These area are normally hardscaped, as natural grass is really is not suitable. The pictured attached demonstrate the difference Envirolawn grass can make.

Envirolawn’s latest installation for Southport based Futsal Football Company SSS sees the first 3G indoor sports surface installed in the town.
Futsal is a variant of association football that is played on a smaller pitch and mainly played indoors. Its name is derived from the Portuguese futebol de salão and the Spanish fútbol de salón (colloquially fútbol sala), which can be translated as "hall football" or "indoor football. According to FIFA statistics over 25 million people play Futsal worldwide. It is estimated that in Italy around 4 million people play Futsal as opposed to 1 million full-sided players and Futsal is also the number 1 sport in Portuguese schools and universities.
St Luke's C of E Primary School
Front of School and Friendship Garden has been revamped!
St Luke's in Crosby have undergone a major redevelopment of their school and ask Envirolawn to create an area at the front that could be used for parents while waiting for their children.
The brief for the Friendship garden was to create a very usable safe outdoor space for the children. The raised planters, new seating areas, artificial grass, extensive planting, Stage and sail shade installed by Envirolawn has given the Friendship Garden a new lease of life. A Novel Idea
Southport based Shop fitting company approached Envirolawn with a novel idea, to supply a tennis court for inside a marquee at the AEGON Golf Championships: as you can see once again artificial grass can be utilized in many different ways.

This year has seen a huge raise for my company with regards to domestic installations, even keen gardens are realising the benefits of artificial grass, allowing them to concentrate on their planting, rather than spending the whole year battling with their natural grass.
Our lawns are suitable for pets... fact
Envirolawn are asked quite regularly if our lawns are suitable for pets. I think by the picture it is evident that artificial grass is a great solution to pet owners that have a constant problem with keeping their gardens in good condition. One thing to remember is that not only do they have a great looking garden they also benefit from no transfer of grass or mud into the house.
Artificial grass is everywhere
Envirolawn latest installation was for Southport Dramatic Clubs home at the Little Theatre in Southport for the production of Humble Boy. The audience comments on the realism of the set was clear from the first night applause when the curtain went up, revealing an unbelievably realistic garden scene.
Samlesbury Hall driving range
Envirolawn recently completed the 150m2 artificial practice putting green at Samlesbury Hall driving range. Envirolawn was approached by the Driving range owner and golf professional Gerry Bond to install one of the largest artificial practice greens in the county. As well as the practice greens Envirolawn also installed artificial grass on all nine of the greens around the par 3 course.
The artificial greens ensure that that even in the worst of weather conditions play can go on!!
Envirolawn help Blackpool FC keep on top form.
Where's the only bit of green 'grass' on the Fylde Coast at the moment? Well, it's at Fylde Rugby Club's Woodlands Ground on it's 3G all weather surface. And Blackpool FC have joined neighbours Fleetwood in using the surface for training in the current freezing weather. Blackpool used the Woodlands as their training base in the summer of 2009, to prepare for their successful Championship promotion season, and they are back once again in these extreme conditions. Fleetwood took over the facilities as their full-time training base last summer ahead of their impressive Blue Square Premiership campaign and are enjoying using the grass & all weather pitches, gym and clubhouse.
ScoreFootball's enterprising Simon Haydock, who runs the soccer activity at the Woodlands, hired Southport based 3G pitch specialists Envirolawn to remove 13 tons of snow 8" deep from the 60mx40m surface on Monday. It took five men with snow ploughs and blowers 12 hours to clear the pitch and lay down a salt treatment to prevent it freezing up to -5º.
Ian Holloway, supervising the training session on Wednesday morning ahead of scheduled games over the holiday period against Liverpool, Sunderland & Manchester City, told Simon: "I don't know how you've managed to clear this surface in the time available!". Simon Haydock said:"With the various leagues we run here every night at Score! we ensure that we're open whatever the weather. We're currently the only top class facility on the Fylde Coast maintaining our leagues during this exceptional weather. The playing conditions are perfect even in these temperatures."

This project was a completed late January 2010, converting and previously unused part of the playing fields into at MUGA area for the Children to enjoy in any weather. Also the new facility is bringing the whole community together with after school activities including mini soccer and tennis.
New Install at Woodlands Junior School
It never surprises me the reaction of pure delight from the staff after seeing a 5 aside football pitch being laid out in front of their eyes, this installation was done for Woodlands Primary School Manchester. From an existing Tarmac area of the playground to the latest in 3G artificial grass solutions for use for the children during School hours and for the community in the evenings.

Envirolawn have changed this unused area of concrete into the focal point of the school! This build, designed partly by the school children themselves, encapsulates what Envirolawn want to product – activity areas within schools, designed by the children for the children.
Planning Permission on the Way in England?
There are growing concerns over the numbers of gardens being paved over for driveways in suburban areas in England and that's why there has been a change in heart towards planning permissions. The trend is contributing to flooding problems because a garden will hold rainwater and let it drain away slowly whereas a concrete or paved surface will send it straight into the storm drain system.

Envirolawn Ltd Installs Artificial Grass in Schools Around Lancashire
Envirolawn has had a busy Summer with installations for local authorities all over the UK (see slideshow 2). Head teachers and governors are realising the benefits of artificial grass surfaces in areas around the school that have previously not been utilised to their full potential.
After spending over £5000 last year on outdoor play equipment we found the area unusable for the vast majority of the year due to the grass being worn and muddy. Envirolawn installed an area of artificial grass below the trim trail and this is now the most popular play area with the children, making it an all year round play surface.

West Lancashire and the Southport and Preston areas now have new facilities available in the form of all weather football pitches at Station Road in Hesketh Bank.
